Without any further delay, here's my review of the new episode of Sonic Boom, which aired on October 3rd, 2015... NOW WITH APPROPRIATE SONIC BOOM JOURNAL SKIN! *TA-DA!*
"No Robots Allowed"
The episode starts with the weather being crazy hot... (See, the episode should have been aired during the summertime.) and Sonic and his friends were in Tails' house, suffering through this heatwave. Amy pulls out a small fan, but it breaks down. Sonic suggests using a bigger fan. Knuckles points to Tails' hovercraft, saying they could use the giant fan in the back of the vehicle. Tails tries to point out how impractical and dangerous it could be to turn that on inside the house, but Sonic just went ahead and positioned the hovercraft in front of the door, with the fan facing inside the house, and turned it on. The gang was feeling cooler already... and then they started to get lifted up into the air! 
As Tails was telling them something like this would happen, he tells Sonic to turn off his hovercraft. Sonic tried to do this by running towards it... but the winds the fan were creating were too strong as it blew Sonic back up into the air. Knuckles & Amy grabbed onto support beams to keep from getting blown all over the place... until Knux lets go to get a piece of cake flying around! 
He ends up running into Amy who ends up getting rescued by Sticks on a bike! They made a Wizard of Oz reference AND an E.T. reference in just a few seconds! That's gotta be some kind of record! Sonic soon escapes from the skylight of the house and quickly shuts off the hovercraft. Sonic asked if everyone was okay. They said yeah. Sonic asked if they wanted to do that again and they said yeah! Sonic turned on the hovercraft again as everyone laughed and got swept up in their mini indoor tornado! Meanwhile, in Eggman's lair, he was having his own way of dealing with this heat... by having Orbot & Cubot fan him with palm tree leaves! Even then, it wasn't enough. When Cubot asked why he couldn't turn on the air conditioning, Eggman, after threatening to melt him down for scrap, explained that his electric bills are sky high, because of his inventions, his monitors, his toaster, his robots, and his... other toaster? Orbot then suggests using a power source that's plentiful, safe, and free: solar power. Eggman decides to have Orbot & Cubot stop fanning him and install solar panels on the roof. Once they're up, Eggman sees that the panels are generating more power than he needed. He decides to use that extra energy to supercharge his robots and send them to destroy the village. Leave it to Eggman to make going green evil. Meanwhile, Sonic and the gang are in the village, still struggling to stay cool in this heat. Knuckles even gets fooled into going to an ice cream cart only for it to be a mirage. They soon come across a real ice cream cart several feet from Knuckles' mirage. But, as soon as they get their ice cream, it melts as fast as Sonic's top racing speed! The gang was disappointed, until they see the ice cream cart being carried away by several Buzz Bombers! Knux launches Sonic in the air to destroy the robots, dropping the ice cream cart in the process. While Amy destroyed a Crabmeat with her hammer, Tails scans the robots to find out they've been supercharged. And while the gang is busy destroying Eggman's robots, the scene changes to Meh Burger, where we an old mouse with a monocle, a beaver in naval uniform (who also appeared in "My Fair Sticksy" and "Mayor Knuckles.") named Beaverton, and Lady Walrus eating lunch. (I guess for the sake of this thing, we'll call the old mouse Sir Mouse.) So, as Sir Mouse was saying how he's glad to be a new member of the board of the Archipelago Home Owners Association and that the next time they have a victory dinner, that it won't be in this "rat hole," a deactivated Crabmeat lands on their table! The robot has a message on it saying, "If found, return to Dr. Eggman. 1 Lair Boulevard." Back at Eggman's lair, while the doctor was relaxing in his air conditioned room, Orbot brings him a letter from the Archipelago Home Owners Association. It says that they've learned that Eggman has robots in his premises, which is a contravention of bylaw CRM-114, which means he must either vacate all robots there or be forced to face eviction. Wait... Eggman evicted from his lair?! Can that even happen?! Eggman then comes up with a plan... to charm the Association? Orbot suggests menacing them instead, but was immediately shot down. Eggman says that he'll invite the Home Owners Association for dinner to prove that there are no robots in his lair. And for that to work... Eggman ends up hiding his robots all over his lair: Closets, drawers, secret compartments. He even disguised Burnbot as a lamp! Later, as the sun sets, Sonic and the gang are still struggling to stay cool as they laid on the beach, surrounded by empty juice bottles. Knuckles then gets up to go for a swim in the water... but ends up hitting the sand, getting fooled by another mirage! Just then, the radio they had stopped playing music as a news weather report said that to expect a rainstorm to break this heatwave. A storm cloud was seen drifting towards Eggman's lair as Eggman was putting the finishing touches to his dining table. (See, this is why I said it was perfect timing, because there was a nasty rain storm last night/this morning.) The doorbell rang and Cubot pops out a footrest about to answer the door, to which Eggman reminded him that if these people see one robot here, he'll be lair-less! As soon as Cubot hides again, a lightning from the storm cloud strikes the solar panels. And since Eggman made it so that the extra energy is transferred to his robots... Ooh, boy... His robots start roaming around the hallway! As Eggman opened his front door to welcome his guests, he immediately closed it to quickly dispose of a wandering Crabmeat! Eggman then opens the door and quickly leads the Home Owners Association inside. Later that night, as several Buzz Bombers fly away from his lair, Eggman give the 3 members a tray of shrimp puffs. When asked if he keeps robots here by Sir Mouse, Eggman denies it... all while quickly kicking a Motobug out of the room. He then leaves, proclaiming that clanging sound was his oven timer. As Eggman tries to keep his extra energy filled, out of control robots in the closet, Sir Mouse asked what was going on out there. After Eggman says it was just a minor earthquake, he was asked if he needed any help, to which he quickly refused. Suddenly the door opens and Eggman lets go of the Buzz Bomber he was clutching and tackles Sir Mouse & Beaverton to the ground, claiming he wanted to show them his new rug. When the robots cause a ruckus in the hallway, Eggman turned on his radio and turned up the volume to full blast. Eggman then sees Cubot poking his head out again. He forces Cubot to hide again while offering Lady Walrus a dance. He takes her around, trying to prevent her from seeing a couple of Buzz Bombers flying in the air. When a loud crash was heard, Lady Walrus asks what that was. Eggman proclaims it was his soufflé and leaves. As he saw his robots approaching the room, he quickly tries to destroy them. I bet he wishes a certain blue hedgehog was here. Speaking of, we now see Sonic and friends, now cooled off, and eating at Meh Burger. After Knuckles comments on how he wishes Meh Burger was a mirage, the gang sees Eggman's robots approaching them... then just crashing into each other and just glitching out which causes Sonic to wonder what ol' Egghead was up to... Back at Eggman's lair, Eggman continues trying to hide all of his robots... until the Home Owners Association catches him red-handed... To which Eggman springs a laser cage trap on them. (Something he probably should have done in the first place... ) Soon, Sonic and friends arrived. Eggman then ordered his robots to attack... but they did nothing... still malfunctioning from the solar energy overdose. Sonic quickly grabs the remote from Eggman and shuts off the laser cage, freeing the Home Owner Association. As the Association was about to evict Eggman, he was begging them not to. He also told them that he couldn't just get rid of his robots. They were more than his machines... they were his art. That's when they decided it was okay. (What?!) Apparently in that same bylaw, it says art is acceptable, provided it's not in the lawn. So, thanks to an apparent loophole, Eggman and his robots were allowed to stay as the Home Owners Association leaves. Eggman sighs with relief... until an entire armada of his robots storms in the room and trashes it! As Sonic struggled to come up with an insult for Eggman, and believe me, it is very tricky to do, they leave, leaving Eggman to clean up everything!
This episode was pretty funny. The fact that Eggman could be evicted from his own lair was very WTF-ish. The bits with the gang trying to cool off from the crazy summer heat was the best part of this episode. It's funny seeing these guys in wacky situations while Eggman was busy doing other things. Almost something similar to my comics, don't ya think?
