First off, apologies for the delay. As you may have noticed, some douchebaggy stool pigeon with some vendetta against PalComix decided to ruin my gallery. I'll deal with that line of bullcrappery later.

Right now, though... this episode... well, to be fair, it is hard to follow up the epic 4-parter last month. The episode was kind of funny, the plan Eggman had was kind of clever, but most of it just... didn't really entertain me as much.

Well, best if I explain it in my review. With that said, here's my review for the latest episode of Sonic Boom, which aired on June 3rd, 2017.

"Flea-ing From Trouble"

The episode starts with Eggman complaining to the store owner about raising the price of his favorite candy bar, Choco-Num-Num. (Sheesh, I remember when candy was only 50 cents... Then again, I also remember my only game systems were the SEGA Genesis & the SEGA Saturn for over 10 years...) Afterwards, Eggman just went ahead and stole the candy bar. Just then, Team Sonic showed up to put a stop to Eggman's thievery. Eggman then unleashes, what he claims to be, his largest robot yet: Hugebot, which kind of looks like that Vacuum Bot from the "Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Worse-er" episode. It was about to crush the heroes... if it wasn't actually slower than Cowbot. :XD: As they were all bored by this, Knux throws Sonic at the robot's head as he spin attacks it twice, causing its head to fall apart. Once the robot is toppled over, Eggman, throwing the candy bar down in disgust, retreats. Later, at Eggman's lair, Eggman complains that he builds larger and larger robots to fight Sonic and friends and all that's gotten him is larger and larger scrap heaps and tears. After proclaiming that Hugebot was his biggest failure yet, he (finally) decides to change his tactics... by going small instead of big. (Something I've noticed he probably should have done in my comics. :D ) Soon, he creates several flea robots, using nano-technology. (Wow, and I thought model ships in bottles were a pain to make...) He claims, no matter how clean someone is, they'll be reduced to an insanely itchy state. As Orbot & Cubot try to get a closer look, they knock over and break the glass container the robo-fleas were in, causing them to run amok in Eggman's lair. After a failed attempt by Orbot & Cubot to gather them up, Eggman used a remote to control them, almost like a modern Pied Piper. He then orders his henchbots to plant these on Sonic and friends. We soon see Orbot & Cubot passing by Meh Burger where Sonic was eating a burger. Cubot blows several flea-bots on Sonic without his knowledge. Then, we see them looking through Amy's window as she was getting herself ready. Cubot quickly switches Amy's perfume bottle with another having several flea-bots inside. Amy applies the perfume, unknowing of what has happened. We then see them hiding in a bush near the beach as Knuckles was trying impress Perci by lifting up weights with one hand. He's successful until Cubot slingshots several flea-bots on him. Knux starts to feel it as he loses his balance and his chances at impressing Perci. They soon sneak on the roof of Sticks' Burrow as Orbot was about to drill a hole through the roof to sneak the robots in, but Sticks barged outside, suspecting something. The two henchbots panic and leave, dropping the cup containing the flea-bots. It lands near Sticks as the robot hopped towards her. Somehow, they manage to have a few left as they tossed them through the air duct of Tails' Workshop. The flea-bots manage to land on Tails as he was working on another invention. As Eggman looked on and eating cake, he laughed evilly... and nearly choked on the dang cake! The next day, Sonic, scratching like crazy, enters Meh Burger as he meets up with Tails, Knuckles, and Amy, while trying to hide his sudden flea problem. Problem is, they're trying to do the same thing! After several seconds of awkward silence, Sonic distracts everyone with a dirty spot on the floor. As they looked, Sonic scratched quickly. (Turns out, that spot was the only clean spot on Meh Burger's floors. Gross...) Knuckles then drops the salt shaker and goes down to pick it up, then scratches himself like a dog! Tails goes over to the condiment area to get more ketchup and scratch himself in private. Amy, seeing everyone's not looking at her, uses the handle of her hammer to scratch herself. (Not the weirdest thing I've heard/seen with that hammer handle, honestly... :XD: ) Suddenly, Sticks shows up, scratching herself with no shame and asks if they've got fleas, too. Sonic and crew, realizing there's no point in hiding it anymore, start scratching like crazy, all while blaming one another over who caused this to begin with, all while Eggman watched and laughed. Soon, the gang tries to get anti-itch cream from the store, only for the store owner to deny them entry after hearing they have fleas! (Seriously?! After they helped prevent you from getting robbed?!) Sonic asks, if that's the case, if he could just bring the stuff to them and they'll pay him from outside. The owner goes and presses an alarm! Suddenly, the police and Mayor Fink, wearing hazmat suits, and has the team quarantined in Tails' house. As the gang suffered through these itches and tried to use the basket of treatments, such as some experiment substance that had a bunch of side effects, so naturally, they test it on Knuckles first, and a flea collar, which Amy tried on... only to take off immediately when compared to a outdoor cat by Mark (that stalker fan) who was leading a Gogoba tourist group past Tails' house, Eggman and his robot minions ran amok in the village... stealing all of the Choco-Num-Num bars... (I don't know which is worse, the fact that Eggman's plan caused the Mayor to banish the heroes again or that Eggman's taking advantage of this by gorging on as many chocolate bars like it was Halloween or something...) Mrs. Vandersnout (the old wolf woman) asked Mayor Fink and the 2 police officers where Team Sonic was and why they're not here stopping Eggman. Needless to say, those 3 messed up... big time... Through a panicked dash, they made it to Tails' house and declared that they were no longer under quarantine... and basically begged them to stop Eggman. Knuckles: "Do you ever think maybe YOU GUYS should do something? I mean, you are police officers, after all..." Ha! Points to Knuckles for that super smart observation. :XD: Sonic told them he doesn't know how much help they'll be in their current condition and Amy added that they've tried every potion and powder they could find, but it's doing nothing to get rid of these fleas. Then Mayor Fink suggested that they may not be fleas after all. :jawdrop: WHAT?! The itching was driving Tails so crazy, he never even considered that possibility! As the Mayor and the officers leave, Tails manages to pluck one of the fleas off and puts it under a microscope. He soon discovers that they're robots! That's when Sonic comes up with, without question, in my opinion, the DUMBEST plan ever... He tries to attack them by just hitting his friends at random spots... and everyone gets in on the madness! (Like I said, dumbest idea ever! Honestly, it wouldn't be as bad or painful if Knux was the one that came up with that idea...) After that bit of chaos, they were only able to incapacitate 2 flea-bots! Tails recommended an alternate approach as he examined the flea-bots closely and discovers that they're programmed to work remotely. All they have to do is find the controller. Sonic had a good idea where this remote control would be... as he and Knux busts in a sheep villager's hut... then realizes that it's in Eggman's lair. (I... Gah... Juh... Buh... :angered: ARGH! Yeah, I think you're starting to see why it's not very favorable by me...) Back at Eggman's lair, we see Eggman completely stuffed after pigging out on all of those candy bars when Team Sonic, still scratching, busts through his door. Eggman then turns up the intensity of the itchiness as he has his minions attack them. Despite the itchiness driving them crazy, they still manage to find a way to deal damage to the robots. (I liked Knuckles' Curly impression here. :XD: ) Sonic could no longer take it as he starts spinning and bouncing all over Eggman's lair, eventually hitting him in the process, causing him to drop the remote. Tails quickly picks it up and makes the flea-bots leave them and give Eggman a taste of his own medicine! :D Amy then asks if that remote is the only way to stop those flea-bots. Tails says he's pretty sure which causes Amy to smash up that remote into pieces with her hammer! :D Now Eggman is stuck with his own flea-bots making him itch like crazy AND a stomachache from eating all those candy bars. :XD:

Okay, so this episode was... ... ... At least the ending was good. I will say that there was a clever joke on animal testing in there... Like I said before, I knew nothing the epic 4-parter last month, but... this gave me head pains more than belly laughs. Hopefully the next episode won't be as bad...
