Master Emerald Mayhem - 6

I’m not gonna lie to ya, here. At the time that I released this comic on MySpace, I think it was around a few weeks after Hurricane Katrina...

That... was an unfortunate coincidence, I assure you.

In any case, originally I had this comic with 3 frames on 3 rows, but after I uploaded it on MySpace, I saw that it made it almost impossible to read it, so I made quick changes and decided to stay with the 2 frames each row setup.

Have to say, I’m impressed I was able to figure out the shadowing capabilities with Photoshop here.

The idea here was to have Knuckles involved in the story still. Plus, funny reaction on Knux in the 4th frame. Edited it myself. My first edit, too. I was starting to get the hang of the whole making sprite comics routine.

Also, when Angel Island crashes in the sea, you always see a huge ass wave following it. A surfer’s paradise there.

Yes, I am aware that I used Sonic’s snowboard as a surfboard. In my view, any board is a good board for a situation like this.

The rushing water from Sonic 3’s Hydrocity stage was about as close to a wave as I could get.

FYI: More proof of early laziness; Tails flying, but his propeller tails has yet to move...
